However, I made it out to the suburb of Panmure to find a Filipino takeaway (takeaway = take-out) place. A couple weeks ago a friend from the Filipino club here suggested it to me and of course I had to go find it. Took the 30-minute bus ride with my friend, Christian, who has had a lot of Filipino food before, cuz he lives in L.A. and is around it a lot haha.
Anyway! Manong Al's BBQ shop was not hard to find at all! Almost just off the bus route :)
Yay! Must remember store hours. Open Friday and Saturday, 9:30AM-5:00PM.

Saturday night went to my first ever foam party. So much fun!
Next? Kiwi Asian Club's AFDA camping trip. Then off to Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Queenstown with Jessica. Two-week mid-semester break. Heck yes.
