This picture was taken at Bettina's birthday dinner just this past Wednesday at a restaurant called...I forget...but it had the name stone in it...
Anyway, I currently live with Bettina (in the purple) and Anneke (who is right next to her) in their house in Sandringham. On the other side of the table is Sam (her son) and Belinda (Sam's girlfriend). They're both working/schooling and live in the city.
I feel incredibly lucky to have been placed with such a wonderful family!
Bettina's career has something to do with architecture and she works in a very nice building in town that has a great view of the city. Apparently you can see people jumping from the sky tower (no, not because of that...you can bungy jump off it!).
Anneke is a 2nd year law student, a huge accomplishment, seeing as only 20% of the people who apply for law actually get in! Vicky - if you're reading this, her sense of humor reminds me of you haha, straight and blunt.
Sam is a uni student as well...I think he's doing something in business, was it marketing? Belinda is from Australia and is lovely as well. Apparently she has a really good voice so hopefully before I leave I'll get to hear her sing!
