long time, no see!

Life has been, in a word, chaotic.

Classes haven't been too strenuous yet, in the sense that I haven't had any major assignments due yet, nor tests. However, I'm pretty behind in my reading (I hate being such a slow reader!) and I know it'll kill me...First big assignments are coming up next week so I gotta get on that!

FASA (Filipino American Students' Association) has been so much fun this year :) Right now we're in the midst of Tinikling/Singkil practice for our Rochester Revue performance. Instead of using the traditional music like we always have, we're dancing to an instrumental version of "Don't Trust Me" by 3OH!3. We've got 16 people dancing (!), the most we've ever had, and hopefully we'll be getting longer tinikling sticks next week! I think I've settled alright into the role of president, but at times it's still a little weird, and I forget that I am. Is that a bad thing? Haha. Halo-Halloween is gonna be a lotta fun because we're expanding our co-sponsorships and will hopefully have a few new booths set up by other groups!

Oops, more to write about, but I'm gonna head to bed now!
